Job Description

The Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) performs direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include bathing, dressing, feeding, transporting, and other non-professional services to support the personal needs and comfort of geriatric patients.

Minimum Requirements

• Active CNA with Geriatric Certification
• Experience with memory care patients (preferred)
• At least one year of recent geriatric nursing assistant experience
• Graduation from a certified nursing assistant program with proper documentation and active certification
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clerical functions
• Current CPR certification
• TB test, PPD, or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current health certificate as per regulations
• Must meet federal, state, and local requirements
• Minimum age of 18 years

Schedule & Contract

Available Schedules: 2x Days, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM, 5x8s EOW, 40 hours/week

Contract Length: 4, 6, or 8 weeks
