Job Summary: Provide activities of daily living care to residents under licensed staff supervision.

Essential Functions:

• Maintain confidentiality of resident information.
• Follow policies, procedures, standards, and practices.
• Assist with personal hygiene, linen changes, and bed-making.
• Serve food promptly and assist with feeding as needed.
• Perform resident treatments within scope of practice.
• Accurately record and report resident observations.
• Participate in care planning and promote daily living activities.
• Follow care plans for lifts and transfers, including the Lift Free Program.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift and transfer 30 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and twist throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Organizational skills for sequential tasks.
• Listed on the state registry as a Nursing Assistant within 120 days.
• Motivation to work with geriatric populations.
• Proficiency in English reading and speaking.

Physical Requirements: Ability to work on your feet constantly, lift up to 30 pounds, and respond quickly in emergencies.
