Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is hiring Geriatric Nursing Assistants (GNA) to support residents with person-centered care in a continuing care retirement community located in Silver Spring, Maryland. The role offers part-time day and evening shifts with competitive hourly pay between $20.00 and $24.00 depending on experience.

Candidates should hold a Maryland GNA certification, have 1 year of CNA/GNA experience preferred, and possess basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• Current GNA certification for the State of Maryland.
• Minimum of 1 year of CNA/GNA experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the resident’s physical, spiritual, emotional, and clinical needs.
• Assisting residents in activities of daily living.
• Implementing residents personal care plans, focusing on residents’ strengths, preferences, and routines while providing comfort and belonging.
• Providing assistance with resident activities and resident programs.
• Working with the clinical team to ensure residents' needs are addressed in a timely manner.

Location: Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living

Join our team as Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA). Our GNAs support our residents in all aspects of daily living, providing person-centered care to ensure we meet all of our resident’s needs.

Compensation

Commensurate for experience between $20.00 - $24.00 hourly.

We are looking for fill various part-time openings for our Day and Evening shifts.
