Qualifications

• Master's degree in nursing accepted for licensure by the Michigan Board of Nursing.
• Three years of specialized, technical experience as a registered nurse practitioner.
• Alternate Education – RN12: master's in nursing or bachelor's in nursing with six months of RN P11 experience.
• Alternate Education – RN13: master's in nursing with one year of RN12, or bachelor's with 18 months RN P11, or bachelor's with one year RN12.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care to individuals with disabilities in a long-term care setting.
• Perform medical assessments and medical procedures.
• Provide primary clinical therapy to members of the Michigan Veteran Homes.
• Maintain a Michigan nursing license in good standing.
