Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individualized therapy for seniors in long-term care communities. You will collaborate with care teams to maintain dignity and quality of life, delivering person-centered support and evidence-based treatment.

The role requires evaluating residents, offering therapy for mood and cognitive changes, and coordinating with physicians and staff to ensure seamless care across settings.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling.
• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently as a Psychologist (Ph.D/Psy.D.), LCSW/LISW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT.
• Experience in geriatric or long-term care settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted resource for residents: conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy for depression, anxiety, grief, and cognitive changes using evidence-based techniques.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure integrated care.
• Respond to crises with immediate intervention and support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and follow ethical guidelines.
• Navigate electronic medical records with accuracy.
