Job summary

Curana Health is seeking a licensed mental health professional to provide individualized therapy for seniors in long-term care communities. You’ll support emotional well-being and quality of life, working with a multidisciplinary team to deliver holistic, person-centered care.

The role is a flexible part-time position (2-3 days/week) requiring travel to assigned facilities. Licensure in psychology, social work, or counseling is required, with experience in geriatric mental health highly

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field
• Current and valid state licensure to practice independently as a Psychologist (Ph.D/Psy.D.), LCSW/LISW, LMHC, LPC, LMFT

Responsibilities

• Be a trusted resource for residents: conduct thorough psychological assessments and develop personalized treatment plans
• Provide individualized therapy: counseling for depression, anxiety, grief, adjustment disorders, and cognitive changes
• Partner with physicians, nurses, and facility staff to ensure integrated care
• Support in times of need: respond to crises with immediate intervention
• Ensure quality and compliance: maintain confidential records and follow guidelines
• Embrace technology: navigate electronic medical records accurately
