Job summary

Spencer Britt is seeking a BE/BC Geriatric Medicine Physician to join our PACE Interdisciplinary Team just north of Boston, delivering comprehensive, goal-focused care to high-risk older adults in the community.

The role is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8am–4pm, with no nights, weekends, or holidays. You will participate with the PACE Interdisciplinary Team to support frail seniors remaining safely in the community, with bilingual ability preferred.

Qualifications

• BE/BC in geriatrics
• 1 year geriatrics experience
• Experience with low income and diverse cultural groups preferred
• Bilingual is desired

Responsibilities

• Completes initial, periodic and annual physical examinations of the participants
• Evaluates participants for episodic visits, acute illnesses and follow-ups of hospitalizations
• Makes nursing home visits as needed and per state requirements
• Use telehealth as needed and where appropriate
• Participates in the PACE hospital rounding system and on-call schedule
• Develops treatment plans in concert with the Interdisciplinary Team
• Performs other duties as required
• Comfort with palliative and end-of-life care
• Comfortable doing home care visits

Details:

• This is a full-time position, Monday- Friday 8am-4pm
• No nights, weekends or holidays!
• Participate as a member of the PACE Interdisciplinary Team
• Primary mission is to assist frail older adults to remain living in the community for as long as it is safe
• Bilingual is desired
• 1-year geriatrics experience and working with low income and diverse cultural groups preferred
• Salary Range: $222k to $294k Annually

Responsibilities:

• Completes initial, periodic and annual physical examinations of the participants
• Evaluates participants for episodic visits, for acute illnesses and for follow-ups of hospitalizations in the clinic, at home or at a nursing home
• Makes nursing home visits in accordance with the state nursing home requirements and as needed
• Use telehealth as needed and where appropriate
• Participates in the PACE hospital rounding system and the on-call schedule
• Evaluates the needs of the participants and develops treatment plans in concert with the other members of the Interdisciplinary Team
• Perform other duties as required
• Must be comfortable with palliative and end of life care.
• Must be comfortable doing home care visits
