Job summary

The PACE Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) in the Boston area is seeking a Family Medicine Physician to focus on care in skilled nursing facilities, delivering comprehensive, personalized care to help seniors live safely at home. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide coordinated primary and specialty care, rehabilitation, and social services.

Typical hours are Monday–Friday, 8 am–4 pm, with an average daily census of 8–15 patients and no on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Care in skilled nursing facilities.
• Deliver team-based care with physicians, nurses, therapists, social workers, behavioral health specialists, and CNAs.
• Provide complete and highly personalized care to help seniors live independently, safely, and comfortably in their homes for as long as possible.
• Monday through Friday, 8 am-4 pm.
• Average daily patient census 8-15.
• No call.
• Market-rate salary plus full benefits, including health, dental, vision insurance, generous PTO, and retirement plan.

A nonprofit healthcare center in the Boston area that provides comprehensive medical and supportive services for adults aged 55 and older through the PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) model is adding a Family Medicine Physician. The organization’s mission is to help seniors remain safely in their homes and communities for as long as possible by providing coordinated care, including primary and specialty medical services, rehabilitation, social programs, meals, and transportation.

About the Opportunity:
