Summit Healthcare Staffing is seeking a dedicated Medical Technician to join our healthcare team serving a 40-bed Assisted Living Facility in New York. Open shifts include 6AM-2PM and 2PM-10PM; candidates should be patient, empathetic and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate will hold a Florida Med-Tech certification, experience with geriatric care, and strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Collect, process and analyze biological specimens using aseptic techniques.
• Monitor patients' basic hygiene needs and assist with tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures and document findings clearly.
• Maintain records and assist with inventory control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients' recovery or well-being and report to the registered nurse.
• Support laboratory management activities including instrument calibration.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, test results and equipment maintenance.
