The ideal candidate will hold a Florida Med-Tech certification, experience with geriatric care, and strong communication skills to document findings and collaborate with healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Collect, process and analyze biological specimens using aseptic techniques.
• Monitor patients' basic hygiene needs and assist with tasks such as bathing, dressing and toileting.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures and document findings clearly.
• Maintain records and assist with inventory control and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Support laboratory management activities including instrument calibration.
• Maintain detailed records of procedures, test results and equipment maintenance.

Compassion and care is a number one priority.Open shift hours include- 6AM-2PM and 2PM-10PM Our team is looking for someone who is patient, empathetic, and has the ability to manage several tasks that need to be completed daily.

Duties

• Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens including blood, tissue, and other bodily fluids using aseptic techniques and proper specimen handling protocols.
• Ensure that the patients' basic hygiene needs are met by bathing, shaving and dressing them.
• Help patients use the bathroom.
• Change the bedsheets for patients.
• Monitor patients' recovery or general well-being and report findings to the registered nurse.
• Prepare patients for examinations or procedures.
• Support laboratory management activities including inventory control, calibration of instruments, and adherence to safety standards
• Maintain detailed records of laboratory procedures, test results, quality control measures, and equipment maintenance to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

• 6 hr Med-Tech certification for the state of FL.
