Job summary

Infinite Medical P.C. seeks a Medical Director/Attending Physician to oversee delivery of comprehensive care to residents in LTC facilities.

You will lead clinical staff, promote best practices, and guide program development while ensuring top-quality patient outcomes. This role requires CMD certification (preferred) and extensive LTC experience, with a focus on regulatory compliance, quality improvement, and team collaboration in a nationwide network of senior-care sites.

Qualifications

• CMD certification preferred.
• Extensive experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facility settings.
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality improvement in long-term care.
• Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to enhance patient care and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing oversight, mentorship, and clinical guidance to medical staff to maintain high standards of care.
• Foster a collaborative environment that promotes best practices and continuous professional development.
• Lead the interview and credentialing process for prospective medical staff.
• Chair or co-chair the Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Committee quarterly.
• Assist in DOH survey preparedness, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Lead the implementation of new clinical programs and initiatives.
• Stay informed of geriatric and long-term care advancements to evolve the facility’s clinical offerings.
• Provide direct patient care to residents, ensuring the highest quality of clinical treatment and support.
