Job summary

Quest Healthcare Development seeks a dedicated aide to provide direct care and medication administration for residents in our Ohio facility. You will support daily activities, assist with admissions, and collaborate with nursing staff to ensure quality care.

The role emphasizes patient safety, accurate documentation, and effective communication with physicians, families, and team members. CPR/First Aid and Med Tech training are required, with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Highschool diploma or GED or related experience and/or training.
• Minimum of 1-year experience with the elderly preferred.
• CPR and First Aid required.
• Must have completed PA state Med Tech training programs.
• Able to read simple instructions and memos.
• Able to write simple correspondence and effective one-on-one communication.

Responsibilities

• Administration and documentation of resident medication according to accepted practices.
• Ensure rooms are ready for new admissions.
• Greet and escort new admissions to their rooms.
• Participate in orientation of new residents/family members.
• Consult with the resident’s physician for care and rehabilitation as needed.
• Notify attending physician about accidents, incidents, or changes in condition.
• Carry out restorative and rehabilitative programs including self-help and care.
• Inspect treatment areas daily to keep them clean and safe.
