Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited LPN/LVN program and be currently licensed in the state.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience in a health care facility.
• Experience in a long-term care community or geriatric setting preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, staff, residents, and families.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and individual nursing care to residents.

• Documents care accurately in MAR and resident records.
• Assesses residents and communicates information relevant to diagnosis or plan of care.
• Administers medication per physician orders and monitors for adverse reactions.
