Job summary

Deer Oaks - The Behavioral Health Solution in Corpus Christi, TX, is seeking a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our Long-Term Care Clinical Services team. This full-time, on-site role provides therapy, assessments, care planning, and behavioral health support across one or more LTC facilities in the local community with a Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted LPC license in good standing.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience or interest in geriatric behavioral health is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, family, and group therapy to LTC residents.
• Conduct clinical assessments, psychosocial evaluations, screenings, and treatment planning.
• Support residents with depression, anxiety, adjustment to illness, grief, trauma, and other LTC conditions.
• Document care using the GNT and follow HIPAA guidelines.
