Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• English language proficiency required (read/write/speak).
• Knowledge of dietary techniques and procedures preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb frequently and 50 lb occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals, desserts and snacks per posted menu; follow special diets and dietary concerns.
• Serve meals that are palatable and presentable.
• Keep work area clean, organized and sanitized; wash pots and pans as needed.
• Know health code requirements for food storage and hot/cold holding temperatures; maintain documentation.
• Estimate and prepare food supplies to meet serving portions.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and respectable work environment.
• Attend and participate in continuing educational programs.
