Senior Care Therapy in La Plata, Maryland seeks Licensed Professional Counselors to deliver in-person psychotherapy to seniors in skilled nursing facilities. We provide full-time opportunities with a sign-on bonus, comprehensive benefits, and administrative support including billing and credentialing.

Join a psychologist-led team with ongoing mentorship, CEU reimbursement, and a strong focus on resident well-being. You will work up to 45 minutes per session, at various facilities across MD.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LPC license in the state applying for.
• Effective oral and written communication in English.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with regulatory compliance.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual and group psychotherapy sessions for residents in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral conditions (depression, anxiety, adjustment disorders, cognitive decline).
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient.
• Collaborate with facility staff and families to support patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in the EHR and monitor progress.
