Job summary

Senior Care Therapy is seeking Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT) to deliver in-person psychotherapy to geriatric residents across skilled nursing facilities in MD, NY, NJ, and PA. The clinician handles administrative duties, with full clinical autonomy and a supportive team, while maintaining high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted LMFT license in state applying for.
• Excellent communication in English.
• Proficient with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to provide in-person services at facilities up to 45 minutes.
• Vaccination status may be required in some facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions for residents in subacute or skilled nursing facilities.
• Conduct group psychotherapy sessions as appropriate.
• Assess, diagnose, and treat emotional and behavioral health conditions.
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans.
• Collaborate with facility staff, interdisciplinary teams, and family members.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in EHR according to regulatory standards.
