Job summary

Cascades at St. Anne in Seattle, WA is seeking a Part Time Dietary Aide to support residents with meals on Thurs–Sun evenings. This role offers a supportive team in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation community.

You will assist with meal preparation, tray assembly, and delivery while following dietary needs and safety protocols. Opportunities for training and professional growth are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, or enrollment in current high school courses.
• Experience working in the kitchen of institutions that provide meals to large groups on a daily basis.
• Experience cooking in a Skilled Nursing Facility is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold meals and beverages according to menus, recipes, and dietary needs.
• Review tray cards for allergies, preferences, and special instructions.
• Assemble meal trays with correct dishware and adaptive equipment.
• Serve meals and assist with delivery to residents.
• Prepare and stock snack carts.
• Clean dishes, utensils, and food prep areas after use.
• Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Communicate respectfully with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Attend trainings/meetings and support additional assigned tasks.
