Job summary

Eaton County Health & Rehabilitation Services is seeking a dietary support role in a nursing home setting. You will assist with food service, meal delivery, and basic training of new staff under supervision, ensuring residents receive safe, quality meals.

Responsibilities include handling and serving food, maintaining sanitation, and supporting dietary routines. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required; normal hours are at the facility with the possibility of additional tasks as directed by the Director.

Qualifications

• Must have a genuine interest in geriatrics and serving food for residents with high standards of quality.
• Previous food service experience, preferably in a health care setting.
• High school graduate or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Handle and serve resident food safely and to standards.
• Prepare, deliver, and pick up resident food trays, maintaining schedules.
• Clean and sterilize dishes, utensils, and equipment per policy.
• Restock and stock supplies as needed.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with regulatory requirements.
