Job summary

Mission Senior Living seeks a Dietary Aide to assist in food preparation and meal service for residents within scheduled timeframes. The role also includes maintaining a clean kitchen and dining area, following resident diets, and logging chemical and temperature data.

The incumbent will report any losses, breakages, or safety concerns to the Director of Dining Services and may assist as a Resident Assistant when dietary duties are complete.

Qualifications

• Keeps licensures (ServSafe, Food Handler's Card, CPR/First Aid) in good standing at all times.
• Ability to push, pull and lift at least 50 lbs; able to bend, squat and climb stairs.

Responsibilities

• Assists with preparation of food items and serves food to residents within scheduled timeframes.
• Cleans and maintains food service areas, including kitchen and dining room.
• Maintains current logs for chemicals and temperatures.
• Observes and reports problems or potential issues in the dietary department.
• Assists as a Resident Assistant when dietary duties are finished.
