Job summary

Palmetto Subacute Care Center is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to carry out best practice treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist. You will document progress and contribute to patient-centered care in a long-term care setting.

The role requires a valid state license, strong documentation skills, and timely communication with the supervising OT. Applicants should be punctual, collaborative, and able to work with a multidisciplinary team to support

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid professional license and registration for the state of practice.
• Experience with long-term care or geriatric care is preferred.
• Strong documentation writing skills and timely weekly progress notes.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide feedback to the supervising OT via documentation as required by facility policy.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to deliver patient-centered care.
• Report to work on time and adhere to scheduled hours.
• Perform duties assigned by Director of Rehabilitation.
