Job summary

Community LIFE is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA/L) for a full-time daylight schedule in Somerset, PA. The role focuses on delivering in-home and in-center therapy to help older adults maintain independence in ADL’s and IADL’s, with ROM and strength interventions per the treatment plan.

The position operates Monday through Friday, 7:30am-4:00pm, with mileage reimbursement and comprehensive benefits including holidays, insurance, a 403(b), tuition reimbursement, and

Qualifications

• OTA/L program completion approved by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Minimum of one year working with the frail or elder population.
• Current PA OTA licensure and valid PA Driver’s License.
• Ability to provide compassionate geriatric care and follow treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home and in-center therapy for older adults according to a treatment plan.
• Assist with regaining or maintaining ADL’s, IADL’s, ROM and strength.
• Coordinate with OT/L and care team to implement interventions and document progress.
