Job summary
Hackensack Meridian Health and Jersey Shore University Medical Center in Neptune, NJ, seek a Geriatrician Faculty to serve as Associate Director of the Geriatric Consult Service. You will lead clinical and administrative geriatric programs, collaborate with Emergency Medicine and Surgery, and help expand inpatient and outpatient geriatric consultations.

Qualifications
- Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a geriatrics fellowship/COQ.
- Excellent clinical and teaching skills.
- Experience in cognitive assessment.
- Ability to obtain NJ licensure including DEA and CDS.
Responsibilities
- Perform inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up visits for geriatric patients.
- Assist in designing and implementing preoperative assessment for high-risk elective surgical patients.
- Participate in interdisciplinary conferences for elective high-risk patients.
- Contribute to comprehensive inpatient assessment programs for high-risk medical and surgical patients.
- Support undergraduate and graduate medical education and continuing education programs.
