This role involves overseeing both clinical and administrative programs within the Department of Medicine, participating in geriatric consultations, and contributing to the education of medical professionals. Applicants must possess Board Certification in Internal or Family Medicine and relevant geriatric qualifications.

The position offers competitive compensation, including a minimum salary of $207,199, signing bonus, relocation assistance, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Board Certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine with a fellowship or Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatric Medicine.
• Ability to obtain professional licensure, DEA and CDS license in New Jersey.
• Excellent clinical and teaching skills.
• Experience in cognitive assessment.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient consultations and follow-up visits for geriatric patients.
• Assist in designing and implementing pre-operative assessment programs.
• Participate in interdisciplinary conferences for high-risk patients.
• Support undergraduate and graduate medical education activities.
• Work with the Chief of Geriatrics on establishing a geriatric fellowship program.
