Job summary

Pine Rest Christian Mental Health Services is seeking a Clinical Social Worker to join a dedicated team in Grand Rapids, MI. You will assess patients, develop individualized treatment plans, and provide individual, group, and family therapy while coordinating with families, referral sources, and insurance providers.

A strong commitment to compassionate care and professional ethics is essential. Required are an MSW and Michigan licensure (LMSW/LLMSW accepted).

Qualifications

• MSW or Master’s degree in social work required.
• Current Michigan licensure in social work required (LMSW/LLMSW accepted).
• Substance abuse track: master’s in behavioral health with 2+ years postgrad experience in substance use disorder treatment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess and prioritize patient treatment needs and discharge planning.
• Collaborate with clinical team to implement and adjust care plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy and psychosocial assessment.
• Serve as liaison between families, patients, and providers; manage crises when needed.
