Job summary

Pine Rest Northwest Clinic in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a compassionate Clinical Therapist to provide assessment, counseling, and treatment services for individuals receiving behavioral health care. In this role, you'll collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, deliver evidence‑based therapy, and help patients build the skills and support needed for recovery.

Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field and current Michigan LMSW/LPC/LP license.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field.
• Current full Michigan licensure as LMSW, LPC, LP, or equivalent clinical license.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide high-quality, person-centered behavioral health services.
• Preferred Experience providing Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• DBT-Intensive (DBT-I) training.
• Experience working with children and adolescents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health assessments and develop treatment plans.
• Provide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based approaches.
• Collaborate with treatment team members to coordinate patient care.
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust interventions as needed.
• Assist with crisis intervention, safety planning, and community resource coordination.
• Promote a recovery-focused, person-centered treatment environment.
