Job summary

StoryPoint Group is seeking a Caregiver/Medication Manager in Pleasant Hill, Iowa, responsible for providing personal assistance and medication management for residents in our community. You will assist with daily functions and ensure the overall well-being of the elderly population.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma or GED and a desire to work with geriatric individuals. Current CPR and First Aid certification are needed. This position requires compassion, strong communication skills, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain Medication Manager certification on-site if not already certified.
• Previous Healthcare or experience working with the elderly population preferred.
• Must have current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal assistance for residents living in the community.
• Assist residents with daily functions such as bathing and grooming.
• Follow medication administration protocols for individual residents.
• Report vital signs and any unusual signs to the nurse.
• Maintain dignity and respect for each resident.
