Qualifications

• RN licensed and graduate of accredited nursing program.
• PICC line insertion experience REQUIRED.
• ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, TNCC and related certifications may be required.
• Experience in acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administers, transcribes and records medications following SSH policy.
• Develops and communicates the plan of care for each patient.
• Performs admission assessments and documents patient care per policy.
• Ensures safety, infection control and regulatory compliance.
• Documents care with emphasis on patient comfort and family involvement.
• Supports discharge planning and transfers by targeting 12:00pm when possible.
• Maintains professional development and applies evidence-based practice.
