Job summary

South Shore Health in Weymouth, MA is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the GYN Emerson unit. This full-time, day-shift role requires delivering individualized, outcome-oriented nursing care using the nursing process and coordinating care with the care team.

You will perform medication administration, plan of care, documentation, patient and family centered care, safety, and professional development while meeting SSH policies.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• RN - Licensed Registered Nurse in MA or eligible for MA licensure.
• ACLS/BLS certifications required or as per SSH policy.

Responsibilities

• Administer, transcribe, and record medications following SSH policies.
• Develop, discuss, and update individualized plan of care for each patient.
• Assess, reassess, and document patient needs and response to interventions.
• Communicate care plans with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Ensure safety and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Assist discharge planning and transfers with timely coordination.
