Lutheran Senior Services in Saint Charles, MO is seeking an RN to provide and coordinate care for residents, maintaining licensure and adhering to state nurse practice acts.

The role involves interprofessional collaboration, IV therapy, medication administration, EMR documentation, safety, and supervision of nursing staff. We offer competitive benefits and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must hold RN licensure in the state of practice.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Gerontological nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Practices nursing care within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act; maintains an active license.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to define care plans and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Mixes TPNs, handles IV therapy, ports, and related duties per RN licensure.
• Oversees medication administration and IV therapy as ordered; monitors IV fluids and meds.
• Maintains documentation and care plans, including MDS where applicable.
• Uses EMR for full clinical documentation compliant with policies.
• Observes resident status, coordinates with other services to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintains a safe, functional environment and promotes safety.
• Oversees certified staff and other assigned personnel to meet EverTrue care standards.
• Performs rounds and documents resident progress and changes in condition.
• Reports incidents per state and federal regulations.
