Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing.

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer and document medications, tests upon which the administration of medications are dependent, and perform treatments according to physician orders and facility policies.
• Assess resident’s response to medication regime and notify physician of adverse effects.
• Maintain proper storage and security of drugs and biologicals.
• Assist in orientation and training of new nursing personnel.
• Practice infection control and safety policies and procedures.
