Job summary

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Accurately prepare, administer and document medications and treatments per physician orders and facility policy.
• Record time spent on each treatment according to policy and medication/treatment records.
• Assess resident responses to medications and promptly report adverse effects to the physician.
• Notify physician of refusals or non-compliance with treatment plans.
• Explain medication plans to residents and families, including side effects and purposes.
• Ensure proper storage, security, and disposal of drugs and related materials.
• Assist with rounds, admissions, discharges, and care planning as needed.
• Supervise infection control, safety policies, and staff education.
