Saliba's Extended Care Pharmacy in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Pharmacist to accurately verify and dispense medications for residents in long-term care settings. You will ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and maintain patient safety throughout dispensing.

Responsibilities include reviewing medication orders, performing clinical checks for interactions and dosing, supervising technicians, and collaborating with facility staff and prescribers to resolve issues.

Formación

• Current, unrestricted Pharmacist license in Arizona.
• Knowledge of geriatric and long-term care pharmacotherapy and safety.
• Experience with pharmacy management systems and eMAR or EHR platforms.

Responsabilidades

• Verify and dispense medications for long-term care residents.
• Review medication orders and perform drug interaction checks.
• Oversee pharmacy technicians and support staff.
• Collaborate with nurses, prescribers, and facility staff to resolve issues.
