Job summary

Saliba’s Extended Care Pharmacy, part of the Guardian family, seeks a Pharmacy Technician in Phoenix, AZ. You will enter and process prescriptions, triage faxes, verify dosages, and maintain accurate records while delivering high-quality customer service.

The role requires a Pharmacy Technician license (PTCB preferred) and at least 2 years of related experience. There are opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Pharmacy Technician license/certification/registration required by state.
• National Certification (PTCB) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the operating system accurately.
• Triage incoming fax prescriptions for timely dispensing.
• Ensure proper notes in the computer and cycle fill coding.
• Verify correct dosage based on prescriptions.
• Respond to customer calls with care and courtesy.
• Complete all prescriptions assigned within regular shift.
• Communicate with doctors’ offices on refills.
• Develop proficiency in all pharmacy systems used.
