Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our geriatric care team. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and provide emotional support to residents and families.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN by the state.
• No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Skilled at tackling numerous tasks and makes quick decisions.
• Can foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment.
• A passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in a long-term or assisted living facility a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor vital signs, such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about health care maintenance.
• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
