Job summary

The Wyndmoor Group is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide quality care to geriatric patients. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and offer emotional support while maintaining excellent communication with patients, families, and the care team.

Ideal candidates are compassionate, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced setting. Prior long-term or assisted living experience is a plus but not required, and you will join a dedicated team focused on resident

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) by the state.
• No finding in the registry concerning abuse, neglect, or misappropriation of resident property.
• Able to multitask and make quick decisions.
• Foster good resident and family relationships.
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment.
• Passion for working with elderly residents.
• Experience in long-term or assisted living facility is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
• Monitor vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, and pulse rate.
• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
• Provide emotional support to patients and families.
• Educate patients and families about health care maintenance.
• Observe and report changes in patient's condition to the supervising nurse.
• Assist with geriatric care needs.
