Job summary

Reedy River Post Acute in Greenville, SC is seeking a dependable Cook for the day shift to prepare nutritious meals for residents and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen. Work closely with the Dietary Manager to follow approved menus and dietary restrictions while delivering quality meals with care.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking or food service experience, preferably in a healthcare or long-term care setting.
• Knowledge of dietary restrictions and therapeutic diets.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dietary Manager with meal preparation and food production.
• Prepare and serve meals following approved menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals meet physician-ordered dietary restrictions and safety guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in kitchen and dining areas.
• Support with meal service and tray preparation as needed.
