Job summary

Care Choice of Boerne is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate care for residents in a designated unit. You will follow the Interdisciplinary Care Plan, assist with daily activities, and support restorative and psychosocial needs to promote a homelike atmosphere.

You will document timely updates, participate in training, and work closely with Licensed Staff and other departments. Flexibility to work multiple shifts and a strong commitment to resident well-being are

Qualifications

• Must read, write and follow oral instructions.
• Certification process must be completed within state deadlines.
• Ability to perform tasks per Interdisciplinary Care Plan.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in assigned group, maintain hygiene and grooming.
• Assist with meals, mobility, bathing, and dressing.
• Support restorative care and psychosocial needs.
• Keep care areas clean and home-like; report observations to Licensed Staff.
• Document information daily on Nursing Flow Record and other records.
• Attend in-services and staff meetings as required.
• Sign in on Unit Assignment Sheet and adapt to changes as needed.
• Ensure safety and privacy for residents; follow infection control policies.
