Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice is required or compact licensure.
• BLS certification is required.
• Experience in behavioral health is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred; professional certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs across physical, psychological and social domains.
• Plan and coordinate care with the treatment team, including discharge planning.
• Provide direct nursing care, administer medications and monitor patient response.
• Document care and communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
• Participate in unit leadership and ongoing quality improvement.
