Job summary

Talentify seeks an Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities in planning and directing quality activities for patients. Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, organize, implement, and evaluate quality activity programs for patients.
• Chart patient progress and behavior descriptively.
• Escort patients to activities and assist in group participation.
• Make in-room visits to patients unwilling or unable to join group activities.
• Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude toward patients.
• Assist in patient evacuation and ensure safety and sanitation.
• Maintain regular attendance and work within an interdisciplinary team.
• Read, write, and understand English.
