Job summary

Fervo Energy seeks a Reservoir Engineer focused on reservoir modeling and history matching to calibrate subsurface models against field performance in Colorado.

You will build and calibrate fracture growth and reservoir models using tests and data, diagnose mismatch sources, and design targeted tests to improve match quality. Collaboration with Completions and Data Science teams is essential to keep models predictive as the asset base grows.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in reservoir engineering, simulation, or fracture modeling.
• Hands-on experience with reservoir or fracture simulators.

Responsibilities

• Build and calibrate hydraulic fracture growth models against observed stimulation data.
• History-match fracture height, length, and complexity using treatment data and microseismic information.
• Characterize in-situ stress state and NF interactions to guide fracture growth modeling.
• Incorporate completion design parameters into fracture growth models and iterate with new data.
• Translate calibrated fracture models into simulation-ready reservoir representations.
