Job summary

Fervo Energy is seeking a Well Stimulation Support Reservoir Engineer to lead interface between reservoir and completions teams. You will design and evaluate stimulation/treatment, analyze reservoir data to inform completions and optimize capital efficiency across the project portfolio.

This role requires flexibility for occasional calls outside standard hours; reporting to the Asset Reservoir Engineering Lead in the Geoblock Factory. Colorado residency preferred with hybrid office options.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of engineering experience in hydraulic fracturing in unconventional oil/gas or geothermal.
• 1+ years field experience in oil/gas, geothermal, or similar operations.
• Knowledge of geomechanics and thermodynamics.
• Experience with multistage hydraulic fracturing in horizontal wells.
• Experience in data analytics with Spotfire or Power BI.
• Willing to travel up to 20% for fieldwork.

Responsibilities

• Data Analysis & Interpretation: interpret stimulation data and analyze production/injection data.
• Field Operations Support: lead stimulation data collection planning and real-time design changes.
• Develop data acquisition and stimulation trial programs; analyze field data.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize models and well performance.
• Support reservoir management strategies and development plans.
• Provide input into economic modeling and prepare technical evaluations.
• Participate in industry meetings and conferences.
