Job summary

RESPEC is seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our Geothermal team. You’ll lead multidisciplinary projects from planning through execution, delivering on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of project management experience, a relevant bachelor’s degree, strong client-relations skills, and the ability to coordinate teams across locations. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, geology, science, construction management, environmental science, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressively responsible consulting, engineering, or project management experience.
• Experience managing scopes, schedules, budgets, risks, client communications, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record for business travel.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects through the full lifecycle from kickoff through closeout.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and deliverables.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders across offices and locations.
• Monitor project performance and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for clients, fostering strong relationships and clear communication.
• Lead client meetings and provide regular updates on progress, risks, schedules, budgets, and next steps.
• Manage project financial performance including forecasting, budgeting, and profitability.
• Identify and manage risks, change orders, and contract modifications.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory obligations.
• Support business development through proposals and presentations.
• Mentor team members and promote a collaborative environment.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by sharing best practices.
