Fervo Energy, a modern power company accelerating geothermal scale, seeks an Energy Associate to support the powerplant engineering team. You will work with engineering teams to understand pain points, professionalize the organization, and improve decision quality while enabling executive and cross-department communication.

This fast-paced role blends strategy, engineering, and product management with significant ownership from day one, reporting to the Engineering Manager on the powerplant team.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree required; economics, finance, energy policy, or STEM preferred.
• 2-4+ years of relevant professional experience in management consulting, energy development, power markets, project finance, or a related field.
• Strong analytical rigor, with comfort building and maintaining models, trackers, and processes.
• Comfort working with large datasets.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to summarize technical material accurately for others.

Responsabilidades

• Decision Quality: help make high quality data-driven decisions under ambiguity, including serving as a sounding board and thought partner on high impact opportunities.
• Executive Communication: prepare clear, concise updates that translate technical and operational information for leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Financial Modeling: build and maintain financial models that support engineering design decision-making, in coordination with Strategy and engineering teams.
• Strategy & Operations Support: coordinate with engineering leadership to establish frameworks and best practices for use across the organization.
• Process Improvement: identify knowledge gaps and develop tools, checklists, and references to continuously improve design and execution processes.
