Fervo Energy Co. seeks an Electrical Power Engineer to join the Power Delivery Team, designing and optimizing electrical power systems for geothermal projects.

You will analyze transmission, distribution, substations, and renewable integration, collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver robust, safe energy infrastructure. The role emphasizes solving complex technical challenges, cross‑functional collaboration, and adherence to industry standards, reporting to the Lead

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Working knowledge of NEC and NESC.
• Familiarity with ETAP or SKM electrical analysis software.
• Strong analytical and quantitative problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform engineering, technical, and financial analyses for electrical power projects.
• Conduct power system planning and operational studies, including reliability assessments.
• Perform load flow, short circuit, arc flash, protection coordination, and stability studies using modeling software.
• Develop life-cycle cost analyses by preparing engineering estimates and project cost assumptions.
• Support electrical design and execution of transmission, distribution, substations, and renewable integration projects.
• Coordinate with consultants, vendors, and construction partners to ensure on-time delivery.
