Job summary

ECS Group of Companies is seeking a Group Leader to head our geotechnical and energy service lines from Richmond, VA. You will guide strategic planning, technical delivery, and revenue growth while maintaining high customer service and ECS Core Values.

Responsibilities include leading a team of engineers, overseeing project delivery, and developing new business opportunities with clients and partners. A PE license may be required, with a potential upgrade path to Principal within 6 months of

Qualifications

The role requires a BS in Civil Engineering or related fields and a professional engineer (PE) license may be required in the work states.
Demonstrated 10 years of related engineering consulting experience in geotechnical fields.
Strong leadership, client engagement, and financial management abilities.

Responsibilities

Lead and grow the geotechnical service line including strategic planning, technical delivery, and client engagement.
Oversee project execution, team development, and reporting of deliverables.
Develop proposals, budgets and project financials; manage staffing and workload.
Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems and company standards.
Build relationships with contractors, clients, and industry partners.
