Job summary

Terracon in Dallas, TX seeks a capable engineering professional to provide and lead field investigations, analysis and design related to geotechnical projects across public works, transportation, and commercial sectors.

You will mentor staff, review reports, and interact with clients, while pursuing Terracon Authorized Project Reviewer certification. Requires PE in Texas or ability to obtain within 6 months; Bachelor's and Master's preferred; 5-8 years of experience; valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
• Master's degree in Civil Engineering with Geotechnical specialization is preferred.
• Licensed PE in Texas or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Provide and lead quality monitoring and improvement on projects.
• Manage detailed phases of projects with moderate size and complexity.
• Independently perform a variety of projects or segments of larger projects.
• Coordinate detailed phases of assigned project work and mentoring of staff.
• Prepare proposals and reports; interact with clients and project teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering

Master's degree in Civil Engineering (Geotechnical preferred)

PE licensure in Texas or ability to obtain in 6 months
