Job summary

Intertek is seeking a Geotechnical Project Manager in York, PA to lead geotechnical projects including field exploration, lab testing, analysis, and report preparation. The role requires coordinating site activities and client communications within a dynamic A/E/C environment.

You will develop proposals, manage projects, and travel up to 15% to client sites. A civil/geotechnical engineering background and strong communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering.
• 3+ years Geotechnical Engineering experience with active project management.
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
• Travel up to 15% of the time.
• Valid Driver's License and reliable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Execute geotechnical project assignments including field exploration, lab services, engineering analysis, and report preparation.
• Prepare proposals and reports and direct operations to meet client commitments.
• Perform site reconnaissance of sites prior to field services.
• Coordinate utility clearance and boring layout before field services.
• Participate in business development and client relationship activities related to technical assignments.
