Langan is seeking a Senior Project Manager – Geotechnical Engineering to join its team in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on project leadership, client interaction, and developing geotechnical reports and designs.

You will mentor staff and lead cross‑functional collaboration across design teams. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s in Geotechnical Engineering (or related) with PE licensure and 10+ years of geotechnical experience, including field work and software such as gINT and PLAXIS.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Geotechnical Engineering with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Professional Engineer licensure.
• 10+ years related geotechnical experience.
• Prior experience with geotechnical investigations and construction inspections.
• Office experience with investigation and field work coordination, geotechnical reports, and specification writing.
• Desired software knowledge: gINT, Slide/SLOPE/W, PLAXIS, LPILE, GRLWEAP, MSEW, SHAKE.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail with analytical, multitasking, and judgment capabilities.
• Ability to effectively work independently and in a team environment.
• Some field work is required.
• Reliable transportation for client meetings and site visits; valid driver's license.

Responsabilidades

• Preparation of technical reports, specifications, construction plans, and geotechnical recommendations;
• Preparation of proposals, coordinating projects, managing clients and billings;
• Provide mentorship, coaching, and review of work for staff;
• Expand services to existing clients and develop new ones while maintaining billability;
• Support of excavation designs and Plaxis 3D analysis;
• Log borings and perform observation during construction projects;
• Manage multiple projects within budgets, schedules, and deadlines;
• Perform other duties as requested.
