Job summary

MC Squared is seeking a Project Manager to lead geotechnical engineering projects from initiation to completion in a fast-paced environment. You will oversee field and laboratory coordination, ensure safety, and manage client communications to deliver quality, on-time outcomes.

The role requires deep geotechnical expertise, strong financial management, and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams while maintaining profitability and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering; Masters preferred.
• 5+ years geotechnical engineering and project management experience.
• PE license preferred; EIT required.
• Strong understanding of earned value management.
• Experience with Deltek Vantagepoint or similar ERP systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage geotechnical projects from initiation through completion.
• Coordinate field and lab testing, client communication, and reporting.
• Develop scopes, budgets, and schedules; monitor progress and quality.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and profitability.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams and manage client relationships.
• Review billing, forecasting, and project cash flow.
